Since 2015 onwards, we have contracts with all the health insurance providers. However, you will need a supplementary insurance (in addition to your basic package) to get reimbursements for the sessions. In case you do not have a supplementary insurance, then you will receive a bill from us after every therapy session.

How do symptoms occur?

Pain and functional problems of the musculoskeletal system occur when the normal balance of the tissue is disturbed. This can happen due to changing of (working) posture, unusual work, unilateral use or overuse of body parts, an accident or even psychological influences. As a result problems may develop in the joints, muscles, tendons, ligaments, intervertebral discs etc. The movement then becomes difficult and / or painful. Joints become stiff, muscles can tense up, tendons and joints can start to irritate. Pain could also radiate to other parts of the body, such as in an arm or leg.

These complaints often persist due to the decrease in mobility of one or more joints. The physio and manual therapist tries to restore the joint mobility.

Which complaints can be treated with physical therapy or manual therapy?

  • Lower back pain with or without radiation into the legs
  • Neck pain with or without nerve pain radiation in arm / hand (Fibromyalgia)
  • Upper back pain with rib or chest pain
  • Headaches and neck pain
  • Shoulder complaints
  • Pelvis / hip complaints
  • Complaints to body parts such as knees, ankles, elbows, wrists
  • Arthritis / degeneration
  • RSI
  • Hernia of low back or neck
  • Whiplash symptoms
  • Pelvic instability during and after pregnancy

A treatment takes about half an hour. Within a couple of treatments, the therapy should yield results and your symptoms should improve. The treatment can be supplemented with exercises and other advice. The treatment takes place once a week or every two weeks to give the body time to move differently and to respond to treatment.

The first time we take some extra time for a comprehensive intake and investigation.
